Brandy Morris

Brandy Morris serves as Principal and Chief Financial Officer at AB CarVal, where she oversees financial management of the firm’s management company, including financial reporting and controls, forecasting and planning, strategic planning, business performance, and profitability. Morris also leads the firm’s Data Initiatives and Solutions function, which includes financial operations (FinOps) supporting the management of technology spend, and is driving AI education, adoption and capabilities across the organization. She is a member of the Executive Committee and the Human Capital and Compensation Committee and contributes significantly to the firm’s compensation process. Since joining AB CarVal in 2009, Morris has held a number of leadership roles, including previously leading the firm’s global technology function, where she built best-in-class capabilities and established a strong FinOps discipline. Prior to joining AB CarVal, Morris held roles at Deephaven Capital Management, AEW Capital Management and PricewaterhouseCoopers. She holds both a BS and an MS in accounting from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Location: Minneapolis
