Chris Mawn

Chris Mawn is a Principal and Senior Vice President for AB CarVal, where he is responsible for leading the corporate bank loan and collateralized loan obligation (CLO) business. Mawn also chairs the firm’s CLO investment sub-committee. He began working in credit markets in 2001. Mawn combines experience in par, distressed and special situations credit research with credit trading and loan portfolio management. Prior to joining AB CarVal in 2017, he worked in management consulting across multiple industries with a focus on operational improvement, merger and acquisition, and corporate strategy engagements for leading domestic and international companies. Mawn began his career in the military, serving as an officer in the United States Marine Corps. He hold a BA from Dartmouth College and an MBA (honors) in finance from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Location: Minneapolis
