Francesco Buffi

Francesco Buffi is a Managing Director and Vice President for AB CarVal, where he is responsible for sourcing and managing asset-based finance investments in Europe. Prior to joining AB CarVal in 2019, Buffi was with Oaktree Capital Management, where he managed investments in performing and non-performing loan portfolios across Europe. Buffi also previously held investment roles with Värde Partners and Bear Stearns in London. He started his career in Milan, where he held consulting and investment roles in the private equity industry. Buffi holds a Laurea in Economia e Commercio from the University of Siena. He is fluent in Italian. Location: London
