James Sackett

James Sackett is a Principal and Senior Vice President for AB CarVal, where he is responsible for managing investments in European asset-based finance strategies, non-performing loan portfolios and structured credit. Before joining AB CarVal in 2009, Sackett was a managing director at Saxon Consultancy in the UK. Prior to that, he spent 12 years at Barclays Capital as a director within the structured finance and asset-backed securitization team. Sackett holds a BA in economics from Heriot-Watt University.
