Roger Newkirk

Roger Newkirk is a Principal and Senior Vice President for AB CarVal, where he is a co-portfolio manager for several AB CarVal fund offerings. Before joining AB CarVal in 2015, Newkirk was an executive director at UBS, where he was responsible for the emerging-market corporate trading business. Newkirk also worked as a director for Barclays, focusing on emerging-market credit and derivatives trading. He began his career in 1998 at Sanford C. Bernstein in fixed income. Newkirk holds a BBA in finance and real estate from the University of Cincinnati and an MBA in finance from Columbia Business School. He is a CFA charterholder. Location: New York
